Dear Maje

An Australian drinking yogurt brand is now open here in the Philippines. KOOMI NATURAL DRINKING YOGURT serves healthy yogurt drink, perfect to replace your sinful milktea and frappe.

Koomi Philippines invited us to try their products yesterday at 5th floor The Podium.

THE MENU
So here is the menu, all of these drinks are very natural even the sinkers are also healthy. For as low as 120 php. you can have a healthy-yummy-drink.

Aside from choosing what flavor of drink you want to try you can also customize it.
  • For Aussie blend - You'll have a strong yogurt base (I recommend this one)
  • For Filipino blend - It's more of a creamy and milder yogurt base.

They also use honey as a natural sweetener.

Now, let's talk about the taste.

On my left hand I was holding the KOOMI signature: Stick-On-Me Purple Rice. This in particular drink reminds me of a Mango sticky rice from Thailand. Or if I will put it into our Filipino tastebuds it's like a rice cake (kakanin) soak in milk. This drink will make you feel full easily because of the purple rice as a sinker.

If you are craving for a healthier brown sugar-ish drink BOOPIN' BOBA is for you. This drink is compose of concentrated yogurt, the trendy brown sugar syrup and ofcourse boba as sinker.

WHY NOT COCONUT is another distinctive flavor from the brand. It has a combination of yogurt, activated charcoal (which is btw, good for digestion) and coconut.

WATERBERRY WONDER this one is more on tropical drink, it has watermelon, chucks of strawberries and yogurt.

For the ambiance, the color combination pink and violet is cute, plus the neon light perfect for your #Drinkfie but the space is decent enough to accommodate buying customers.

A lot of customers were line up to buy their KOOMI DRINKS.

Overall, I will recommend this drink specially if you are looking into your diet and you want to lessen your consumption of MILKTEAS. On the other hand, you may finish this whole cup without feeling guilty #GuiltnessGoodness as what they've said.

You know yuletide season is approaching when a lot of cafes and restaurant started to open their Christmas lights, change the entire decor to a Chrismassy one and launch their Christmas Menus, with that being said Froggy and I got invited to taste test the Nitro 7's Holiday drinks last week.

I've been seeing a lot of Nitro 7 coffee and tea cafes here and there but frankly speaking, I haven't had any experience to dine in until today. So what I know about Nitro 7 is that their famous drink is Black Nitro which is made of cold-brewed and infused with nitrogen gas, making it less acidic and ideal for people who suffer from acidity or Gastroesophageal reflux disease also known as GERD.

Now let's talk about the holiday drinks, the said cafe have 3 new flavors to choose from they are as follows:

Chocolate Berry Snow (P175)

For those people who are not into coffee this first drink is for you! This drink is milk-based so perfect if you have a sweet tooth like me.

Magical Cherry Mocha (P155)

This second drink is coffee-based drink, flavored with chocolate and cherry, topped with whipped cream, and drizzle with chocolate and candied cherry. This drink is perfect for coffee lovers out there.

Orange Joy Milk Tea (P120)

Milktea lovers you may now rejoice because Nitro 7 didn't forget you guys. If you are adventurous and wanna taste something different try this Orangey-Milktea Flavor. When I first taste this one I must say there's a sugar rush but as my taste buds adjust to it, I find it addicting and I want more.

Aside from drinks you may enjoy also their freshly baked pastries, BTW, I really love how affordable and walang tapon sa menus nila. All of it was appetizing, food for you wallet and the eyes, so I highly recommend this cafe.

Check them out!

Something new opened in Maginhawa and your blogger not  blogger girl had an exclusive invite to try their best dishes together with other bloggers, we invade the Garlic kitchen.

This new avant-garde restaurant serves Asian-Western fusion cuisines with a distinct taste of garlic infused flavor in every dishes they offer.

When it comes to the restaurant design, it has a rustic-industrial theme perfect for the gram just look for my Instagram for some references (follow me on IG: Dear Maje shameless plug hahaha). For me, this place can pass for your date-night with your love ones like your family, friends, lovers and countrymen Charowt. The entire place is cozy and the best part is you can easily find them because it was strategically located at Maginhawa, Quezon City.

Ok!

Now let's talk about the food.

Here's the full list of their menu.

And here are the food that we've got.

Three Cheese Garlic Dip with Taro Chips 110 php.
Cheesy Sweet Potato 125 php.
For Appetizer, I'd go for Cheesy Sweet Potato that's because I have a sweet tooth so everything that is sweet is good for me otherwise if you like some chips then Three Cheese Garlic Dip with Taro Chips is a good choice for you. Hence, both of these are surprisingly delicious.

Herb Crusted Piri-Piri Chicken 230 php.
Smoky Garlic Bagnet 260 php.
Garlic Infused Baka 300 php.
For main dishes, Garlic Infused Baka is the blogger's favorite. The baka is so soft that it was actually perfect paired with rice. Smoky Garlic Bagnet is also good especially the sauce, the sauce makes the bagnet flavorful. For the Herb Crusted Piri-Piri Chicken, I do have a love-hate relationship with this one because I love the taste of chicken (Chicken is my comfort food btw) yet I really don't like the taste of mustard eversince, the sauce has mustard to it so dipping to the sauce is a no-no for me but that was just my opinion since I'm not a mustard lover but for Froggy, whose mustard monster, he loves this dish.

And I almost forgot they also serve this Spicy Garlic Chicken Wings which is one of my favorite. Because it was spicy and chicken plus the garlic sauce makes this whole dish mouthwatering.

Creamy Truffle Pasta 180 php.

This is also Blogger's Favorite and I'm surely go back here in Garlic Kitchen for this Creamy Truffle Pasta. I'm drooling over by just looking at this picture, the taste lingers and you'll be wanting more of this, believe me. It taste magical ganoin.
Garlic Ice Cream
Being a blogger makes you try all the not-so-typical flavors of food like this one, Garlic on an Ice Cream? Wait...what? Believe it or not it really taste good.  Mi paborito.

Ok! writing this makes me famish hahaha but kinding aside, I highly recommend this place, add Garlic kitchen to you next dining experience, ohh btw all dishes are good for sharing. Tag along your barkada and enjoy this wonderful place without hurting your wallet.
